Ulysses Modern is a curated haven for midcentury modern furniture and thrifted apparel in Iowa City and was uniquely branded by Gesso Design Co. Our creative collaboration led to the development of several logo options, but the standout was the one that struck a personal chord with the owner. Inspired by vintage watch faces, the chosen logo mark artfully intertwines the letters "U" and "M" in a minimal and modern style, perfectly capturing the essence of the business. The design not only reflects a love for timeless aesthetics but also pays tribute to the founder's passion for vintage treasures, making every piece in the store resonate with charm and history.
